Biography

Jo Rhoden

Executive Director

Jo Rhoden trained as a chartered accountant and worked in London in both audit and consulting businesses.  She then moved to Sydney, Australia where she continued her career focusing on fast growth companies in the technology and biotechnology sectors including both audit and due diligence for venture capital companies.

She continued her career at a big 4 firm as part of a founding team to transform how audits are conducted, combining innovation, data, digital and design techniques to change not just the product but how it is experienced. She built a team of ‘audit designers’ who changed the client experience from the inside out.  She then took this work to a global context, leading a client experience program across the global audit practice.

Jo went on to lead brand and to envision and build a Global Audit Committee program focusing on major market facing issues that affect businesses and individuals in our challenging and complex times.

She is currently the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee Chair for the University of Bath, with a keen interest in the future of professional services.  She is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Jo lives in Hertfordshire with her young son, and in her spare time loves to sing, swim and spend time outdoors.
