Tucker Nielsen
Tucker Nielsen is a partner with Tapestry Networks. He supports Tapestry’s financial services initiative which focuses on bringing together leaders of financial institutions, regulators, and policymakers to make progress on the key challenges in the sector at regional and global levels. Tucker has always been interested in exploring differences between international markets and how the financial markets and private enterprise, combined with public policy, can be leveraged to drive economic growth and development.
Tucker has spent virtually his entire career in financial services. He worked for 14 years in Citi’s institutional, consumer, and commercial franchises in New York, Kansas City, Miami, New Delhi, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore. During this time, he worked across sales, marketing, operations, product management, and strategy as an individual contributor and team head. Tucker also spent 10 months working for Pro Mujer, a microfinance organization in Nicaragua, under a US Agency for International Development fellowship focusing upon human resources development and organizational structure. He holds a BA in international relations from Brown University and an MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.
Tucker lives in Concord, MA with his wife and three children.
