Vineet Garg – March 17 finance function transformation

In his current role as a partner with EY, Vineet is the Americas and East region finance market leader, overseeing the finance practice’s “Field-of-Play” to integrate capabilities across EY functions for CFOs.

With over 3 years of experience spanning strategy, finance, supply chain, human resources, risk (cyber), and sales & marketing, Vineet brings cross-functional and enterprise-wide perspective to the CFO’s agenda. He has significant experience running highly challenging and strategic initiatives for Fortune 5 clients involving major transformations, transactions, and shareholder expectations.

In finance transformation, he has driven new operating models, capability building, and cost optimization, including evolving finance to be a more valued business partner with increased business relevance. His work has spanned strategy through execution, including operations. 

Prior to joining EY in 21, Vineet was with IBM, having joined in 22 via the acquisition of PwC Consulting, where he was a Partner since 1994. Vineet served as the global relationship partner since 1998 for a Fortune 5 Company for about 8 years across PwC and IBM, where he led finance transformation, merger integration, and managed services. He started his management consulting career at Price Waterhouse in 1984. 

Vineet holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and a BS (BE) from India.
