Executive Experience: Vanessa Chang is a principal in EL & EL Investments, a real estate investment and corporate finance advisory business. She was the founder and chief executive officer of ResolveItNow, an online dispute resolution business serving property and casualty insurers. Prior to ResolveItNow, she was senior vice president at Secured Capital Corp., a real estate investment bank. Vanessa was with KPMG LLP for over 2 years and was the partner in charge of its West Coast Corporate Finance Group.”

She serves as the funds’ audit committee chair, is the designated audit committee financial expert, and is a member of the contracts committee.

Vanessa also serves on the board of directors for Forest Lawn Memorial Parks Association and is a member of the audit, investment, and risk management committees. Vanessa is a member of the board of directors for the American Friends of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. She was a member of the Independent Directors Council and its executive committee, affiliated with the Investment Company Institute. She was a member of the board of trustees and chair of the audit committee for Claremont Graduate University and past chair of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. Vanessa is a certified public accountant and she received her BA degree from the University of British Columbia.
