Ted Shasta

Theodore (Ted) Shasta is a senior financial analyst with 25 years of institutional investment experience and specialist knowledge of the insurance, automotive, and railroad industries. Ted possesses strong accounting and financial skills, and extensive capital markets experience. He currently serves as a director and member of the audit committee of Chubb (formerly ACE) and is chair of the audit committee, member of the finance & risk committee, and member of the compensation & governance committee of MBIA.

Previously, Ted was employed by Wellington Management Company for 13 years where he held a number of roles, most recently senior vice president and partner. Prior to that, Ted held positions at Loomis, Sayles & Company, Dewey Square Investors, and Bank of Boston.

Ted holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College (1973).
