Suzanne Vautrinot

Executive experience: Suzanne Vautrinot is currently President of Kilovolt Consulting, Inc., a cyber security strategy and technology consulting firm. She retired from the United States Air Force in October 213 after 31 years of distinguished service, including as Major General and Commander, 24th Air Force, Air Forces Cyber and Air Force Network Operations from April 211 to October 213 where she oversaw a multi-billion dollar cyber enterprise responsible for operating, extending, maintaining, and defending the Air Force portion of the Department of Defense global network. Zan also served as Director of Plans and Policy, U.S. Cyber Command and Deputy Commander, Network Warfare, U.S. Strategic Command (June 28 to December 21), and Commander, Air Force Recruiting Service (July 26 to June 28).

Additional information. Zan has been awarded numerous medals and commendations, including the Defense Superior Service Medal and Distinguished Service Medal.

She serves on the board of directors of the Battelle Memorial Institute.

Zan earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Master of Science in systems management from the University of Southern California. She was a National Security Fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Zan was recently elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering in 217.
