Scott Stoll

Audit Committee Chair

Farmers Group and Farmers New World Life Insurance Company

Scott Stoll has been the audit committee chair of Farmers Group, Inc. and Farmers New World Life Insurance Company since May 219. Both companies are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Zurich Insurance Group. 

Scott worked in the financial services practice of Ernst & Young for over 36 years until his retirement in 218, including 24 years as a partner. He served some of EY’s largest global clients in both an auditing and consulting capacity. While at EY, Scott was on assignment in Zurich, Switzerland and Melbourne, Australia in addition to working in EY’s New York, San Francisco and Pittsburgh offices in the US. 

From 215 until 22, Scott served on the board of the National Bureau of Asian Research, a non-profit, non-partisan research institution dedicated to informing and strengthening policy in the Asia-Pacific. He served as treasurer of the board, chair of the finance committee, chair of the audit committee and was a member of the executive committee.

Scott is a certified public accountant holding an active license in New York and a retired license in California. He has a bachelor of science in business administration from Bowling Green State University. He currently serves as a member of the leadership council for the Bowling Green State University Schmidthorst College of Business, and chairs the strategic planning committee for the leadership council. Scott is a member of the North American Asset Liability Management Association.
