Scott Liles

Scott Liles is the innovation leader at Nationwide. He recently launched a new, innovation-driven business focusing on industry disruption in Nationwide’s traditional markets.

Previously, Scott was the president of Nationwide Pet Insurance, the number one provider of pet health insurance in the United States. Over 6+ years, he launched multiple new products and businesses in the pet insurance market, and pioneered pet insurance as an employee benefit. Under his leadership, the pet business grew over 15%, increased profitability and re-established the business as the undisputed market leader in pet health insurance.

Scott has held several strategy roles at Nationwide and senior strategy positions with McKinsey & Company and Accenture.  Scott earned an MBA from the London Business School, a master’s degree in economics from the University of Cape Town and an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M.
