He has a wealth of accounting, financial and executive experience, having held senior positions including chief executive officer, chief financial officer, controller, and vice president of finance. His wide and varied experiences, including in the area of finance, provide him with a unique understanding of the oil and gas industry.
He served as segment controller of Refining & Marketing for BP PLC in London from 23 to 26. Peter also served as the CEO of Air BP from 2 to 23 and assistant to group chief executive for BP Amoco from 1998 to 2.
Additional information: He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 198 from Michigan State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1987.
