Executive Experience: Nick Chirekos served in various investment banking roles at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. from 1987 until his retirement in 216. He was most recently the managing director, North America head of mining from 22 to 216. Prior to that, he served as the global head of mining and metals. In his leadership roles for J.P. Morgan’s mining investment banking practice, he cultivated productive client relationships over a 29 year career by executing critical strategic advisory and corporate finance assignments.

While at J.P. Morgan, Nick also served as a member of the North American reputational risk committee. He is a non-executive director for Peabody Energy Corporation serving as chair of the audit committee and a member of the nominating and governance committee. Nick also is a non-executive director of New Gold Inc., serving as a member of both its audit and corporate governance and nominating committees.

He holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Denver and a master of business administration from New York University.
