Nancy Cooper has served on the board of Guardian Life since 212 and currently chairs the audit and risk committee. Nancy also serves on the boards of Brunswick Corporation, the Mosaic Company, and APTIV.
Nancy has over 38 years of working in finance. From 26 until 211, she was the executive vice president and chief financial officer of CA Technologies, Inc. Previously, she served as the chief financial officer of IMS Health, Inc., Reciprocal, Inc., and Pitney Bowes Credit Corporation. Nancy began her career at IBM Corporation in 1976 and became chief financial officer of the global industries division in 1997.
Nancy graduated from Bucknell University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. From 21 until 216, she was the director of the Anita Borg Institute for Women in Technology, a non-profit focused on programs to increase the impact of women in technology.
