Mark Hawkins

Executive Experience: Mark Hawkins has more than 35 years of experience with leading finance organizations at global software and technology companies including Salesforce, Autodesk, Logitech, Dell, and Hewlett-Packard and extensive public board of director experience.

As president and chief financial officer at Salesforce from 214-221, Mark was responsible for leading the company’s global finance organization and was a member of the company’s executive committee. In February of 221, Mark was named president and CFO Emeritus at Salesforce and served in this capacity until November of 221. During his tenure, Salesforce’s market capitalization valuation increased from $33 billion to over $296 billion and the company not only entered the Fortune 5 but also the Dow Jones 3 Industrial index.

Prior to his time at Salesforce, Mark served as CFO and executive vice president at Autodesk, leading the company’s global finance, information technology, and procurement organizations. From 26 to 29, he was CFO and senior vice president of finance & IT at Logitech International SA. From 2 to 26, Mark served as vice president of finance at Dell, in a variety of executive roles. Prior to Dell, he spent over 18 years at Hewlett-Packard where he held a variety of finance and business executive roles, including a two-year posting in Europe. He also served on HP’s board of directors in Japan and China.

Mark is currently a member of the board of directors at Cloudflare, Toast, and Secureworks. He also serves as a senior advisor and board member to private companies. He sits on the NYSE Listed Company advisory board and is a founding member of the USA Chapter of The Prince of Wales’ Accounting for Sustainability Project CFO Leadership Network and chairs the A4S Global Advisory Council.

Additional information: Mark holds an MBA in finance from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He received the San Francisco Bay Area CFO Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the CFO Hall of Fame.
