Executive experience: Margarete started her professional career in 1979 as an analyst at Kapitalbeteiligungs and joined RZB-Leasing in 1983 as Department Head for leasing and fiscal special transactions. In 1986, Margarete moved to CIS Information Systems in Geneva, Switzerland as Regional Director, Sales & Refinancing.

From 1987 to 1995, she worked for Daimler-Benz in Stuttgart as Head of Controlling. From 1995 to 2, she worked for Daimler-Benz in Munich as Head of Sales Finance, Aerospace/Fokker/Airbus. From 2 to 22, she held the position of Head of Group Financial Planning at DaimlerChrysler in Stuttgart. From 22 until 26, she was the Commercial Director of the Berlin Engine Plant of Daimler Chrysler, then Director of Corporate Audit Europe in Stuttgart. She was appointed member of the board at Daimler Financial Services in Berlin in 27, and member of the management board in 29. From 29 to 218, Margarete served as the CFO and a member of the management board for Deutz.

Additional information: Since 216, Margarete has been a member of the German Corporate Governance Commission. Margarete was born in 1953 in Neunkirchen, Austria. She studied economics and business administration at the University of Vienna and completed her dissertation in 1984, followed by an executive education program at Harvard Business School.
