Executive experience: Lynn started her career with Shell Oil in 198 in the Houston headquarters. Subsequently, she held several positions of increasing responsibility in Houston, Singapore, and London, including President of Shell Oil and Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing for Royal Dutch Shell. After retiring from Shell, she joined Sunoco as President and Chief Executive Officer in 28, adding the role of Chairman in 29. She served Sunoco until the company was acquired in 212.

Additional information: Lynn graduated from Rice University in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and from Harvard University with a master’s degree in business administration in 198. She is Trustee Emeritus at Rice University and serves on the advisory board of the Baker Institute at Rice. She lives in Houston with her husband John.
