Executive experience: Louise retired from American Express as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, a position she held for 2 years. Louise was a member of Operating Committee, the Global Management Team, and the Enterprise Risk Management Committee at American Express. She currently is Of Counsel to the international law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Additional information: Louise is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She is the former vice chair of the Smith College Board of Trustees and chair of the Presidential Search Committee.
