Executive Experience: Lew serves on the boards of directors of Anthem, L3Harris Technologies, Artera Services, and the Children’s Healthcare Charity which sponsors the Honda Classic on the PGA tour among other things. He is an operating advisor at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC, a private equity firm.
Lew is the former chair, president, and chief executive officer of NextEra Energy, Inc., one of the nation’s leading electricity-related services companies and the largest renewable energy generator in North America. During his tenure, NextEra more than doubled its operating income, more than tripled its market capitalization, and consistently outperformed the S&P 5 and S&P Utilities Index. Lew served on President Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness and he is a past chair of both the Edison Electric Institute, the association of US shareholder-owned electric companies, and the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
Additional information: Lew received a BS in electrical engineering from Lehigh University and an MS in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
