Kyle Skiermont

Kyle Skiermont, PharmD, is the vice president of Pharmacy and Therapeutics for Nebraska Medicine and assistant dean for Clinical Affairs at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Pharmacy. He received his PharmD from the UNMC College of Pharmacy. Dr. Skiermont is responsible for strategy and overall operations of Nebraska Medicine’s pharmacy program. 

Prior to Nebraska Medicine, Dr. Skiermont worked nearly 2 years at Fairview Pharmacy Services/M Health Fairview in Minneapolis, beginning as a staff pharmacist and rising to serve as its chief operating officer. He then went on to serve as senior vice president of specialty and home delivery services for Prime Therapeutics.

Kyle has spent 2+ years in pharmacy including traditional retail, clinic-based retail, outpatient pharmacy at an academic health center, community and home infusion, specialty, and mail order. Dr. Skiermont has been active on a national level and serves as the Chairman of the Board for the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy. In addition, he is a frequent media and professional spokesperson on a variety of pharmacy topics.
