Until her retirement in mid-2019, Kristy was the chief financial officer for Deloitte Consulting LLP, a $10B firm with over 50,000 practitioners and the largest business unit within the broader US Deloitte firm. Prior to joining Deloitte in 1999, Kristy held leadership positions at Transamerica and First Interstate Bank where she served on multiple leadership committees, including First Interstate California Bank’s management committee.

As CFO, Kristy sponsored numerous technology initiatives that shaped the impact she had in solving the firm’s most pressing operational issues. She and her team helped lead the development of the firm’s first long term scenarios-based planning process which was used to drive key decisions related to strategic investments, capital allocation, and talent programs.

In addition to serving on Deloitte Consulting’s management committee, the primary leadership team that set the strategy for the firm, Kristy served on several key advisory committees. These included the advisory council for Deloitte’s new financial system, one of the largest SAP S/4HANA implementations in the world. She also led the consulting operations committee which focused on the management and optimization of day-to-day operations.

Kristy helped to successfully maintain consistent and predictable double-digit growth and was instrumental in the assessment and mitigation of enterprise risk by developing and directing new approaches to measure, monitor, and manage risk across the portfolio. She led an organization of 1,400 finance professionals spanning operations across the US, India, Germany, and Mexico, and is known for building strong, collaborative relationships, and developing and mentoring leaders of the future.
