Kory Sorenson

Kory Sorenson has close to 3 years of experience in finance, holding senior positions in the financial institutions divisions of Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and most recently Barclays Capital as managing director, head of insurance capital markets. She was also a non-executive director and chair of the audit committee of SCOR SE. Currently, she is a non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee of Pernod Ricard SA, a non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee at Phoenix Group Holding, a non-executive director and chair of the audit committee of SGS SA, a member of the supervisory board of privately-owned Bank Gutmann AG and a member of the board of partners of privately-owned COMGEST.  She was previously a non-executive director of the UNIQA Group, Aviva Insurance Limited and the Institut Pasteur.  

Born in the US, Kory is a citizen of Great Britain. She speaks fluent French and has a DESS in corporate finance from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, a master’s in applied economics from the University of Pairs Dauphine, a bachelor’s in econometrics and political science from the American University in Washington, D.C. and has completed executive education courses in governance, leadership and board optimization at Harvard Business School, INSEAD and Stanford University (including a fintech series).
