Jud Snyder

Jud Snyder currently serves as a global client service partner. He was previously the EY Chicago office managing partner. In that role, Jud supported a team of approximately 4,000 high-performing professionals across EY’s assurance, tax, transaction and advisory service lines as they collaborate to provide exceptional client service. By creating an inclusive and teaming culture and developing great learning experiences for EY’s people, Jud worked to drive market leadership and demonstrate the transformative power of EY. Jud has 24 years of experience coordinating EY audit teams in more than 50 countries and serves as an audit partner for a Fortune 100 company in addition to his office managing partner role in Chicago.

Previously, Jud served as EY’s Central Region deputy assurance managing partner, responsible for performing quality audits, driving growth, managing resources and developing people across our regional assurance practice that included 17 offices and 15 states. Based in Chicago, he worked closely with approximately 1,800 assurance professionals to develop market strategy and client service delivery models to enhance the quality of our audits and audit methodology.

Prior to that role, Jud served as the chief operating officer (COO) for EY in South America, based in São Paulo, Brazil. He had responsibility for planning and directing all aspects of EY’s operational policies, objectives and initiatives on the continent across four service lines and 10 countries with approximately 13,000 people. While in South America, Jud was also a Senior Advisory Partner for several large global clients in the region. Before taking his leadership role in South America, Jud was based in Denver, where he served clients ranging from startups to large multinationals in diverse industry sectors such as technology, telecommunications, biopharmaceuticals, banking, mortgage banking, manufacturing, asset management and diversified financial services.

Jud is a graduate of University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business with a BS in accounting, and he is a certified public accountant licensed in Illinois, Missouri, California, and New York.

Jud and his wife, Cara, have two daughters: Chloe and Olivia.
