Executive experience: Jim Hunt served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Worldwide. During his tenure with Disney, he was also a member of the boards of directors of Disney’s operating subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China and Disney’s two insurance company subsidiaries. Prior to joining Disney Jim was a partner with Ernst & Young.
Today he serves on the board of directors of Brown & Brown, Inc., an S&P 500 diversified insurance agency, wholesaled brokerage, insurance programs and services company, where he is a member of the acquisitions committee and chair of the audit committee; the board of directors of Subway Worldwide, Inc., a private company which is the world’s largest single-brand restaurant chain; the board of trustees of Penn Mutual Life, a Fortune 600, mutual life insurance company, as a member of the investment committee and as chair of the audit committee; and, the board of directors of the Nemours Foundation, which oversees Nemours Children’s Health, a multi hospital health care system, on the nominating and governance committee and, as chair of the audit, finance, and compliance committee.
Jim previously served as a director of two additional public companies—Caesars Entertainment Corporation, as chair of the board of Directors, and The St. Joe Company, on the compensation committee and as chair of the audit committee.
