Henna Karna

Henna Karna is a c-suite data, analytics, and AI executive pioneering the development and use of AI to transform businesses by creating profit centers and new enterprise solutions. Recent leadership positions include managing director of Global Industry Solutions (Insurance & Risk) at Google, global chief data officer at AXA XL, and chief business & information officer at AIG.

Previously, Henna served as president of Verisk Digital Services, Advanced Technology & Analytics director at Affinnova, cryptanalyst/cryptographer at the NSA, cryptology/internet security at GTE Government Systems, and adjunct professor at Babson. Henna has a strong record of developing and commercializing first-in-class, sophisticated products leveraging AI, ML, NLP, LLM and GA. As a trusted consultant and advisor, in April 2024 Henna was selected for a Harvard Fellowship. She is also an advisor for The Doctors Company, serves as board director on several public boards including Hamilton Insurance, and is an entrepreneur in residence at American Family Ventures.

Henna has comprehensive expertise in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. She holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a bachelor’s degree in mathematical sciences from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a master’s degree and a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts.
