Executive Experience: Gracia Martore is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of TEGNA Inc., one of the nation’s largest local media companies formerly known as Gannett Co., Inc., a position she held from October 211 to June 217. Gracia held various leadership roles over her 32-year career at TEGNA, including as president and chief operating officer from 21 to 211, executive vice president and chief financial officer from 25 to 21 and senior vice president and chief financial officer from 23 to 25. Prior to TEGNA, Gracia worked for 12 years in the banking industry.
Gracia has strong leadership skills, broad strategic vision, financial expertise and proven business acumen. Under her leadership, Gannett doubled its broadcast portfolio and acquired full ownership of various digital businesses. Gracia also led the separation of Gannett into two
separate publicly traded companies. The strategic vision
evidenced by her successes in transforming Gannett and
generating value for shareholders is a critical skill set.
Additional information: Gracia also serves as a board director on several private companies including, The Associated Press, FM Global Insurance Company and Learning Tree International.
