Executive Experience: Ginnie Henkels is the chief financial officer of Empowerment & Inclusion Capital, a mission-based special purpose acquisition company focused on promoting equity and inclusion sponsored by PNC and Jefferies. She has served as a director of LCI Industries (NYSE: LCII), a supplier of engineered components to the recreation and industrial products markets, since September 217 and Viad Corp (NYSE: VVI), a full-service live events and travel experience company, since November 217. Previously Ginnie served on the board of directors for Echo Global Logistics (NASDAQ: ECHO), a technology-enabled transportation and supply chain management service provider, from 218 until its sale to the Jordan Companies in November 221. She chairs the audit committee and is a member of the compensation committee for LCI Industries and chairs the audit committee and is a member of the nominating and governance committee for Viad Corp.

From 28 to September 217, Ginnie served as the executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Swift Transportation Company, a then $4 billion publicly traded transportation services company, where she led numerous capital market transactions including its 21 Initial Public Offering/balance sheet recapitalization and 217 merger with Knight Transportation (NYSE: KNX). She also held various finance and accounting leadership positions with increasing responsibilities from 24 at Swift and from 199–22 at Honeywell International, Inc. (NYSE: HON), a worldwide diversified technology and manufacturing leader, including an expatriate international assignment. Formerly a CPA, Ginnie has extensive experience with leadership, finance, accounting, SEC reporting, capital markets, and investor relations as well as experience in strategy development, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, audit, corporate culture, and corporate governance. Ginnie is currently a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Women’s Corporate Director organizations.

Additional information: Ginnie completed her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a double major in finance and real estate at the University of Arizona while on an athletic scholarship for softball. Upon graduation, she joined Honeywell in Phoenix, obtained her MBA from Arizona State University, and passed the May 1995 CPA and June 1995 CMA examinations. She also holds an active real estate license in Arizona.
