Gerry Dixon

US East Region Accounts Managing Partner

EY

Gerry Dixon is EY’s managing partner of accounts in the US-East Region headquartered in New York. In this role, he is responsible for growth, business development, marketing, quality, and resources provided to accounts located in 16 offices including New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and Richmond, VA. The US-East region is the largest region for EY in the world generating nearly $7 billion in revenue with over 15, professionals. 

Prior to his current role, Gerry led the US-East Region consulting practice in the delivery of risk and performance improvement services to many Fortune Global 5 accounts. He is also responsible for the delivery of consulting services to a number of organizations. Gerry’s key expertise is in risk transformation and major project management. He was previously EY’s global and Americas risk leader leading more than 14, professionals in the delivery of risk services to diversified organizations around the world.

Gerry joined EY in 199 and has served the firm in 6 different geographic offices and 4 national offices. He started with the firm in the assurance practice serving agri-business and financial services clients in Kansas City. Gerry then transitioned into consulting with a focus on key financial services clients. He was a member of the initial group incubating the risk practice beginning in 1997. Gerry has served his clients in a variety of capacities including global coordinating partner on two of the firm’s largest clients and engagement partner on large global organizations across multiple industries including financial services, technology, consumer and power & utilities. He currently serves as a member of the EY Global audit committee.

Gerry serves on the Dean’s special advisory council and the accounting and information systems council for University of Kansas School of Business. He is also on the board of MENTOR, a not-for-profit focused on creating and supporting mentoring organizations across the US as well as focusing on public policy, grants, and funding for mentoring. Gerry is the executive sponsor of a number of organizations including the Pan Asian Professional Network, Professional Women’s Network, and EY AccessAbilities. He is an executive sponsor for our Black Executive Roundtable, an annual event that will include over 5 participants. Gerry also participates in charitable activities for the Boy Scouts of America and Covenant House. He is a dedicated mentor to diverse professionals and a Culture Coin recipient, the firm’s highest honor for those recognized as living the firm’s values.

Gerry is married to his wife of 29 years (KU Alumni) and has a 2 year old daughter and a 19 year old son. He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying a variety of activities including archery, camping, hiking, biking, water skiing, and snow skiing.
