Executive experience: George has served as a financial advisor to company executives as well as governments. He is currently the President of Muñoz Investment Banking Group, located in the Washington DC area. George served as president & CEO of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), an independent federal agency, from 1997 to 21. While at OPIC, George oversaw an $18 billion portfolio of loans and political risk insurance that it provided to private sector investors in emerging market countries. George served as chief financial officer of the US Treasury Department.

Additional information: George is a licensed CPA in several states, including Texas. He is also a Certified Financial Planner™ and served on the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (23—25). He has taught MBA-level courses on globalization and international business at Georgetown University. George holds a BA in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, an LLM in taxation from DePaul University, an MPP from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a JD from Harvard Law School.
