Gabriela Dieguez, FSA, MAAA, is a principal and consulting actuary with the New York office of Milliman. She joined the firm in 25.

Gabriela has provided actuarial and consulting services to a wide range of clients, including commercial insurers, Medicare Advantage organizations, pharmaceutical companies, Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans, HMOs, and healthcare providers. She has extensive experience in pricing and valuation, analyzing benefit utilization, forecasting trends, and performing claims analytics for particular disease states.

Gabriela has advised pharmaceutical companies and other clients on actuarial topics related to healthcare reform, Medicare Advantage and Part D, risk sharing contracting, and payer economic issues. In addition, her consulting with both plan sponsors and providers has included Medicare bid certifications, rate development and benefit design, medical claim liabilities evaluation, actuarial support for mergers and acquisitions, and financial feasibility analysis.

Prior to joining Milliman, Gabriela worked for a consulting firm where she was involved in rate and reserve calculations, financial projections, profitability analysis, reinsurance contracts analysis, product development, and rate adequacy.

Gabriela earned her BS in actuarial sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. She is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
