Fred Rosenberg

President

Illinois Gastroenterology Group

Dr. Rosenberg received his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and his postgraduate training at the University of Illinois Chicago Hospital. He has been in private practice gastroenterology since 1978. He was the founding President of Illinois Gastroenterology Group and was a Past President of  the Digestive Health Physicians Association, a national organization advocating for the interests of independent gastroenterology and the patients they serve. He has participated as a principal investigator in numerous clinical inflammatory bowel disease drug studies. Dr. Rosenberg’s professional honors include the Founder’s Award from the Chicago Chapter of the Crohns and Colitis Foundation. Dr. Rosenberg is currently the Medical Director of the North Shore Endoscopy Center.
