Eileen Witherspoon

Eileen Witherspoon is a Public Health Analyst in the CMS Innovation Center (CMMI) where she supports the Oncology Care Model (OCM) and the potential Oncology Care First Model. She leads the data registry and payer engagement work on the OCM Model. Prior to joining CMMI, Ms. Witherspoon worked as an Improvement Consultant for Health Quality Innovators, a CMS Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization, where she supported hospital quality improvement through the Hospital Improvement Innovation Network. Ms. Witherspoon also previously worked at the Maryland Health Care Commission as Chief of Hospital Quality and Performance where she collaborated with hospitals on infection data collection and public reporting. She has over 1 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement. Ms. Witherspoon has her M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins University and her B.A. from the University of Virginia.
