Executive Experience: From 28 to 213, Dunia served as chief executive officer and president of Belo Corp., a media company that owned several television stations, until its acquisition by Gannett Co., Inc. After the acquisition, she served as senior vice president of TEGNA Inc., formerly Gannett Co., Inc., a publishing, broadcast and digital media company, until June 217. She joined Belo Corp. in 1993 and served in a variety of leadership positions during her tenure, including chief financial officer.

From 29 to 215, she served on the board of directors of the Associated Press, where she served as chair of the audit committee from 211 to 215.

Additional information: Dunia has broad experience in managing and leading a significant publicly-traded company. In addition, she possesses important skills and experience gained through her position of chief financial officer and service in public accounting prior to joining Belo Corp.
