Doug Allen, CPCU, CLU, is Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management, at State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in Bloomington, Illinois.
Doug joined State Farm in 1997 in the Corporate Auditing Department and later served in various Finance leadership roles in Ballston Spa, NY; Newark, OH; Dallas, TX; and Chadds Ford, PA. After spending time as a section manager in Auto Underwriting, he moved to West Lafayette, IN as the Auto Underwriting Operations Manager. Doug moved to Corporate (Bloomington, IL) in 214 as Director-Operations Excellence in P&C Underwriting. In June 215, Doug was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management.
Doug earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami (Ohio) University in Oxford, OH, and has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations.
