Executive Experience: A 34 year employee of Hunt Oil and Hunt Consolidated, he served as executive vice president, chief financial officer, and chief risk officer of Hunt Consolidated, as well as a director of both companies, until his retirement on January 31, 2017. He was also CEO and Chairman of ES Xplore, LLC from early 2016 until September 1, 2017, when the company was successfully turned over to a new CEO and a new chair. In May 2018, Don formed Robillard Consulting, LLC, an oil and gas and general business, insurance and finance consulting firm.

Don is an active member of Financial Executives International where he has served as a national and local chapter board member. In 2012, he was the recipient of the Financial Executives International Distinguished Service Award. Don was also recognized as one of the top corporate finance professionals in Dallas-Fort Worth as winner of CEO Magazine’s 2012 Financial Executives Awards, where he was honored as the Outstanding CFO, in the Private Company category. In 2014, the Dallas Business Journal recognized Don with their CFO Lifetime Achievement Award. In both 2015 & 2016, Dallas CEO Magazine recognized him as one of the 5 most influential business leaders in the city.

Additional information: Don is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Corporate Directors, where he serves as Director of the NACD North Texas Chapter, and Financial Executives International, where he also serves as Director of the Dallas Chapter. He is a former trustee and advisory board member of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and has also served as president and as director of the Dallas Petroleum Club. Don is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and earned a BBA from the University of Texas in Austin in 1975.
