Executive experience: From 1994 – 2002 Denise was partner in charge of Arthur Andersen LLP’s South Florida Audit Practice.

Additional information: Denise Dickins serves on the board of directors of Watsco Inc. (NYSE: WSO, chair of audit and compensation committees) and NV5 Global Inc. (NASDAQ: NVEE, chair of audit and compensation committees). From 2006 through 2022, she was a professor at East Carolina University teaching graduate-level classes in auditing, fraud examination, and corporate governance & accounting ethics. From 1983 to 2002, Denise was with Arthur Andersen LLP, most recently as the partner-in-charge of the South Florida audit division. She is a member of the Public Accounting Oversight Board’s (PCAOB) Investor Advisory Group. Her auditing- and accounting-related investigations have been published in numerous academic, pedagogical, and practitioner journals including Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Journal of Business Ethics, Issues in Accounting Education, and CPA Journal.
