Executive experience:  David Walker worked for the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg from 22 through 29, serving as the director of both the program of accountancy and the program of distinction in social responsibility and corporate reporting at the College of Business where he taught classes, developed the MBA Program, established new concentrations and courses, led a successful initial accreditation review by AACSB, and founded the Mu Gamma Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi. He was previously a partner with Arthur Andersen LLP from 1986 through 22, having led the firm’s Assurance and Business Advisory practice for the Florida Caribbean Region from 1999 through 22.

Additional information: David earned an MBA degree from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and a BA degree from DePauw University. He is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow, a certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner.

David has been involved in leadership roles with not-for-profit organizations throughout his career and is a former chair of the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund Advisory Council and serves on the board of directors of the NACD Florida Chapter and Chairs its Tampa Bay Steering Committee.
