Chris Turner

Chris Turner is a partner in our Atlanta office with over 20 years of experience with EY. Chris is currently the Americas deputy in professional practice – auditing. In this role, Chris works with various stakeholders related to the audit methodology, as well as the application of guidance and enablement utilized in both PCAOB and AICPA audits. Chris previously was in the Quality Network for 4 years where he spent the majority of that time as a Control & Methodology Leader. In this role Chris assisted teams with complex transactions and PCAOB inspections.

Chris has extensive experience coordinating services for SEC registrant clients, including financial statement audits (including carve-out audits related to specific transactions), SOX 404, and periodic filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) for clients in the retail, manufacturing, consumer products, service and airline industries. As part of his work with SEC registrants, Chris has coordinated services related to a significant merger, as well as numerous debt offerings. Chris has also worked with privately-held companies, including private-equity backed companies that have prepared for public offerings.

Chris has a bachelor of business administration and a master of accountancy from the University of Georgia.
