Aaron Alt

Aaron Alt is the chief financial officer for Cardinal Health, where he leads the company’s financial activities—including financial strategy, capital deployment, treasury, tax, investor
relations, accounting, and reporting—along with its corporate development and indirect procurement functions.

Alt has more than 20 years of global finance and transformantion experience with a proven track record of delivering strong performance and profitability improvement while
maintaining financial compliance and company values.

Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for the Sysco Corporation, a leading global foodservice distribution company. Prior to Sysco he was both
the chief financial officer and operations leader for the retail division at Sally Beauty Holdings, a large distributor of professional beauty supplies. Alt has also held a variety of leadership roles at the Target Corporation. He started his corporate career at Sara Lee Corporation where he held a variety of roles in brand management, strategy, finance and legal. He began his professional career as a lawyer in London, England, where he was both a U.S. private equity lawyer and an English corporate solicitor.

Alt is a supporter of the arts and believes in its power to foster creativity, promote cultural appreciation, strengthen communities, and make positive connections with others. He is
currently on the board of the Columbus Symphony. He was also involved with and a former board member of both the Ravina Festival, North America’s oldest music festival, and the
MacPhail Center for Music, one of the nation’s oldest and largest community-based music education centers.
