Dennis Andrade

Managing Director

Dennis Andrade is a managing director with Tapestry Networks where he leads the financial services group and co-leads Tapestry’s technology initiatives. His work is focused on bringing together leaders of large financial institutions, international regulators and policymakers, fintech executives, and others to make progress on the key challenges in the sector, as well as exploring the potential and risks of emerging technologies for business and society.

Throughout his career, Dennis has explored the intersection of policy and enterprise. As leader of the Financial Services Leadership Networks, Dennis works with non-executive directors, senior executives, regulators, and other stakeholders from among the largest financial institutions globally to address issues central to the future of international banking, insurance, and capital markets. He has led public-private working groups on a range of issues central to the future of finance, including risk management, oversight, and supervision of financial institutions, and has written extensively on risk, governance, regulation, financial technology and innovation, strategy, and business models in banking and fintech, including serving as one of the authors of the Group of Thirty’s seminal report, Toward Effective Governance of Financial Institutions. He also co-leads Tapestry’s work on AI and cybersecurity bringing together leaders from the private and public sectors to explore the opportunities and risks from the adoption of advancing technologies.

Dennis was previously a consultant with Alliance Consulting Group, a boutique strategy consulting firm in Boston, where he worked on projects developing business unit, marketing, and sales strategies for clients in financial services, private equity, and consumer goods in the United States, Europe, and Israel. He began his career at ICIC, an economic research and strategy advisory organization, which was founded and led by Harvard Professor Michael Porter as part of his work on regional competitiveness. Dennis’ work on entrepreneurial growth companies and economic development while at ICIC was featured in Inc., Fortune, and in a Harvard Business School case study.

Dennis lives in Duxbury, MA with his wife, three children, and a dog.
