Julie Riley

Consultant

Julie Riley is a consultant in Tapestry Networks’ healthcare practice. She supports Tapestry’s work in IBD treatment.

Julie previously led research for the Physician Practice Roundtable, Advisory Board’s research program focused on independent physician organizations. In this capacity, she worked directly with medical group executives to improve board governance and strategic decision-making.

Prior to Advisory Board’s acquisition by Optum, Julie researched topics of interest to physician executives, including reducing unwarranted clinical variation, improving hospital medicine programs, and optimizing high-volume clinical pathways. 

Before joining Advisory board, Julie monitored health policy within the New York City Department of Health’s Primary Care Information Project and worked in the Health and Life Sciences division of Oliver Wyman. She also served as a research administrator at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Julie holds a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University and a degree in economics from Virginia Tech.
